I’ve been teaching people to think for thirty years — starting with philosophy and ethics, moving into AI ethics before most institutions knew they needed it, and spending the last several years at the intersection of democratic theory, technology, and what we actually owe each other. I hold a doctorate in philosophy with a specialization in ethics, chair my college’s AI Policy Committee, and have led faculty governance, curriculum development, and honors education at Drake University.
